Thomas and Julie Stewart, Co-Founders

With a 15 yr age difference, these two coming together through faith after lifetimes of heartbreak was a miracle in itself. Thomas Gregory Stewart and his brother were at the forefront of the biggest lawsuit in Boy Scout history. They were the first two who came forward and they won their case. Since then, thousands and thousands of boys who were also sexually assulted during their time in the Boy Scouts have come forward. If that isn't enough, Tom went through cancer at age 20, had 3 failed marriages and his youngest son died of a heroin overdose at age 23. Through all these trials that would have broke most people, Tom made it through with his undying faith in God. There are two books about his story available: "The Broken Scout" (which is a bit hard to digest as an explicit version of his story) and then the tamer version "On Wings Like Eagles" as well.

Julie's story is a journey of extreme high's and lows. With all seeming to end in broken dreams. She was a speed skating champion, raced dirt bikes, had her paintings in art galleries and had a singing contract all before age 20. Married her best friend since age 12. You would have thought things were going to be amazing for this girl with a heart of gold. She became a widow at age 22, after her late husband succumbed to never getting the kidney transplant he desperately needed. She did remarry and have 2 amazing kids but after 25 yrs together, that relationship was toxic and ended in divorce. All in all, she's had 30+ surgeries and spent 3 yrs legally blind. After getting out of that long toxic relationship, her vision came back. Doctors noting that the blindness was a direct effect of stress. But Julie questioned if it was more than that. After not going to church in about 34 yrs, she decided to give it another shot since she did believe that only God restored her vision. It was there she met Tom! She's working a book of her own and setting up motivational speaking too.
